Elementary | Grades K-5th

DIRECTOR OF ELEMENTARY INSTRUCTION: Marissa Tobler

Elementary is a very important piece of the developmental puzzle. At Inspire Academy, we believe that by laying a strong foundation for students in the elementary years, we can help students create a love for lifelong learning.  Our youngest learners engage in a variety of activities each day, from hands-on science experiments to using multi-sensory activities to learn phonics. Our highly qualified teachers spend time planning and creating lessons to help students use visual, verbal, tactile, and kinesthetic experiences to learn.

At Inspire Academy, our elementary students love our variety of classes and ability to move from place to place throughout their day.  Our Christ-centered curriculum guides students to not only love learning, but also have integrated opportunities to know and love God’s beautiful world. We believe that by providing a loving and calm environment, our students can truly feel safe to learn.

Middle School | Grades 6th-8th

Middle school is a time of transition. These years between elementary and high school can be challenging for students; especially those with learning differences. The teachers at Inspire Academy are intentional in taking the time to build relationships with students and encourage them in such a way that students increase their confidence, independence, and often their perspective on learning.

At Inspire Academy, middle school students are enrolled in core classes, including math, English, science, social studies, and Bible. In addition to their core classes, students have the opportunity to explore other interests in the elective courses they will choose.

The team of middle school teachers at Inspire Academy works closely with students to ensure that they are prepared not only academically but socially, emotionally, and spiritually for high school and beyond.

High School | Grades 9th-12th

The high school years can be a tumultuous time. Students are no longer β€œkids,” but they don’t quite fit into the adult world. Not only are these young adults trying to figure out who they are as individuals, but they also begin the stressful and sometimes scary task of considering life beyond high school.

At Inspire Academy, our high school students are enrolled in core classes, including math, English, science, social studies, and Bible. Our high school students are also encouraged to explore and participate in advanced extracurriculars such as yearbook, photography, theater, worship team production/leading, foreign languages, mentoring younger students, and many more. In addition to cultivating problem-solving abilities, teachers will take every opportunity to work with students to expand their critical thinking and leadership skills. During their classes, high school students will work on building knowledge of ACT/SAT vocabulary words. Additionally, the Inspire staff works closely with students who qualify for special testing through ACT and College Board to file for proper accommodations on these tests. Inspire Academy is a qualified special testing facility with many teachers and staff who are qualified special testing proctors.  This gives our students the unique ability to take these important tests in an environment where they feel comfortable.

While college is not the path that everyone takes, the teachers at Inspire Academy work alongside our students to ensure that they are prepared for life after high school. No matter their chosen path, we are dedicated to assisting our young adults as they navigate unchartered waters.

Dual Credit Opportunities

Beginning the second semester of their sophomore year, students have the unique opportunity to take Dual Credit courses that give both high school and college credit through the Dallas Baptist University Honors Scholar Academy and Tarrant County College. Through DBU, students have the opportunity to take online classes taught by DBU professors and Dual Credit classes taught at Inspire by Inspire teachers who are qualified in their specific subjects. Dual Credit classes provide the unique opportunity of exposing high school students to college-level work within the safe environment of Inspire Academy, where our teachers are available and willing to ensure a manageable transition for students interested in completing some basic classes before entering college. Students needing accommodations in college are taught how to obtain college accommodations and advocate for themselves while taking college courses.
